OUR MISSION

I founded the Jeremiah 1:5 Mission as a sophomore at Texas A&M University. After surrendering my life back to Christ, I felt the Lord calling me into the pro-life ministry. My initial reaction was, "Me? Why me?" At the time, I had little to no experience in the pro-life movement and wrestled with God about whether I should take this leap of faith.

One night, while attending Breakaway Ministry, a college Bible study at Texas A&M, I encountered the Lord in a way that solidified His call on my life. As I waited for the study to begin, a fellow student asked to sit next to me. Through casual conversation, she shared that she was a young mother of twin boys, working toward finishing her degree. I couldn’t believe it—God had brought me a walking testimony of why He wanted me to launch the Jeremiah 1:5 Mission.

This encounter was the confirmation I needed. From that moment, I knew that God was calling me to stand in the gap for pregnancy centers and expecting mothers and to be a voice for the voiceless. Jeremiah 1:5 Mission was born from a place of surrender and obedience, and it continues to grow through the power of God’s love and grace. We are here to support and share that God has a plan and a purpose for every life He creates.

MY TESTIMONY

HI, I’m Caroline Flanagan, aggie and Follower of Jesus ChrisT

We believe

Where does human life begin?

We believe that human life begins at conception.

When is abortion okay?

The Jeremiah 1:5 Mission is unapologetically Pro-Life. We believe that abortion is never okay and that a baby’s value is not determined by how he or she was conceived.

what does God say about human life?

Our stance on life comes from the Word of God. Scripture affirms the value of human life from the moment of conception. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I set you apart.' Additionally, Psalm 139:13-14 declares, 'For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.' These verses remind us that life is sacred, intentional, and created by God from the very beginning.

What is our view of someone who has had an abortion?

We believe there is grace, love, and forgiveness for those who have had an abortion. While we uphold the sanctity of life, we also know that God offers healing and redemption. In 1 John 1:9, the Bible promises, 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' No matter the past, God's love and forgiveness are available to all who seek it.
